Loveshoot Jennifer and Hannan
We were so pleased to see the gorgeously romantic work Mark Hadden
sent us… we just had to share this with you. It is all about the love between two amazing girls who clearly were made for each other!
Here’s the story in Mark’s words:
I was introduced to Jennifer by a friend. She messaged me to say that she and Hannan were interested to do a loveshoot and as modern people we arranged it with a few Facebook messages! We discussed about where might be a good location and settled on the Zuid Kennermerland National Park near Bloemendaal. I had been there before and knew how fantastic it was.
When I met Jennifer and Hannan on the day I could feel the connection between the girls immediately. They had such a lovely closeness, and I really wanted to capture that. The sun was shining all day and the golden hour gave us the most beautiful light for some amazing photos.
For me the best work always comes from the couple. Its not always easy to capture a stillness and emotion if couples are shy with the camera (especially the guys). After all its not always easy to show your love in public. Thats why I like to build up a rapport quickly and make them feel comfortable by becoming a “friend”… an invisible friend. We chat and laugh while we get the awkwardness out of the way. Then with a little guidance on the way, I just put them somewhere and let them be their selves. It doesn’t always work this way but with these lovely girls it was so easy.
They just are what you see: in love!.
A few words from Jennifer: “When we look at the results of this Love-Shoot we see us and I think that that is amazing. Off course I also see a double chin which I hate haha! … but at the same time it’s my double chin so who cares. When I look at the photo reportage I see emotions, I see certain moments that I recognize from our private moments doesn’t matter if there is public around or not. I SEE OUR PRIVATE LOVE MOMENTS and that’s so special. It’s special because normally we experience them but now we actually see them captured in a photo.
Meaning that our view on this photo reportage will definitely be different from yours, but still I believe that people who know us and maybe even people who don’t know us in person will ‘see us and our love for each other’.
Mark Hadden I thank you for capturing these beautiful moments and memories for us, it was a great experience and we where happy to share these moments with you. “
